The Semi-Precious Gemstone Trunk Show is this Friday, December 20, and Saturday, December 21.  Theo will be bringing in his pearls, gemstones, cabochons.

Winter Staff Boutique 2014 - Saturday, December 14 & Sunday, December 15

The staff of the San Gabriel Bead Company is please to host their Holiday Winter Boutique.  Handmade jewelry, bags, and other unique items on Saturday and Sunday, December 14 & 15.  Come and support your local artists and you might find some unique gift items as well.

The Swarovski Crystal Trunk show is this weekend from Friday, December 6 through Sunday, December 8. An authorized Swarovski dealer, Jason will be bringing in his wonderful selection of crystals.

Beader's Night Out - Friday, December 6, 5-7pm

Beader's Night Out is this Friday, December 6, from 5-7pm. You get to make a necklace with glass tile pendants for free! Sign up by calling the store at 626-447-7753. We have two sessions, one at 5pm and the next at 6pm. We are limited to 20 necklace kits so please sign up in advance. The 5pm is almost full and there is still room in the 6pm class. We are taking names for wait lists as well.

Thai Silver Trunk Show - Friday, November 29 through Sunday, December 1

Check out our Thai Silver Trunk Show after Thanksgiving.  She'll have Thai silver, charms, beads, ready-to-wear jewelry.  She has a lovely selection of beautiful scarves, skirts, shirts, mittens, and warm woolen hats.  This is not to be missed and lovely gift ideas for your holiday shopping.

This weekend is the final weekend of the shop hop and we're going out with a bang with our Thai Silver Trunk Show.  Lisa will be here with Thai Silver charms, beads, clothing and accessories, and usually some more cultural objects of beauty.

KLEW EXPRESSIONS Trunk Show - Saturday, September 14

Come visit Klew this Saturday, Sepetember 14, from 10am-7pm, as she'll be having a trunk show with all her fabulous polymer clay.  Klew is one of the leading polymer clay artist and pioneer of this craft.  Come see her latest creations!

Czech Glass Trunk Show - Friday, Sept 6 through Sunday, Sept 8

Wild Things will be here starting Friday, September 6 through Sunday, September 8, with Czech glass strands, glass buttons, and other goodies.  His show will coincide with the Shop Hop so we will be observing extended store hours for Friday and Saturday:  10am-7pm.

We have so many September events coming up, we hope everyone will help come out and it make it a wonderfully festive event(s)!  Our suggestion is to come several times!

BEADER'S GIVE BACK WEEK IS COMING UP!

The Feathered Head Trunk Show - Friday, July 12 to Sunday, July 14

New to our trunk show is The Feathered Head.  Designer Andie Cohen-Healy has custom-crafted, one-of-a-kind headpieces and accessories made from heirloom jewelry, vintage millinery, textural flowers, quills, Swarovski crystals, natural fibers, and mixed media.  Her designs have been featured in the L.A. Times Style Section, national magazines, bridal books and blogs such as L.A. Canvas and LAist.  She was also seen on the Today Show during the Royal Wedding.  Join us this Friday, July 12 through Sunday, July 14, for something a little different and something a little elegant!

CLOSED 4TH OF JULY

Just a reminder that we'll be closed on Thursday, July 4, to celebrate America's Independance Day!  We'll have normal operating hours on Wed, July 3 (11am-7pm) as well as Friday, July 5 (11am-6pm).  Have a great holiday!

Jason's back with his glittery darlings.  Get your lovely Swarovski crystals, all shapes, sizes, colors during the Swarvoski crystal trunk show this Friday, May 31 through Sunday, June 2.  And he even has a few vintage ones.

Semi-Precious Trunk Show - all month of May

We got in an assortment of aqua terra jaspar, agate, tiger eye, aquamarine, etc. for this month's trunk show.  It's happening all month long so first come, first pick.  Enjoy!

Irene's Beaden Board Demonstration - Sunday, April 28, 1-5pm

Irene Sanchez from our friends at Garden of Beaden in Upland will be here, at the San Gabriel Bead Company, on Sunday, April 28, from 1-5pm to demonstrate her new creation, "Beaden Board".
The Beaden Board will help you with macramé, braiding, figure eight, and much more. Her boards will be available for purchase as well. 

Beader's Night Out - Friday, May 3, 5-8pm

Save the date for this event!  It's a special night for you.  On Friday, May 3, from 5-8pm, it's Beader's Night Out, and you can make this leather and chain bracelet for free.  You can also enjoy snacks, advance info on the September Shop Hop, and extended shopping hours. We hope you'll stop by and share in some beading camaraderie.

Vintage Button Trunk show starting Saturday, April 6 to Sunday, April 7.  Lovely, fun, cute, beautiful, and vintage!  This trunk show complements well with our current vintage lucite beads trunk show.

Vintage Lucite Trunk Show - Today through Sunday, April 14

We're having an in-store trunk show of these lovely lucite beads.  We got in lots of flowers, leaves, and beads of all shapes and sizes and colors.  There are some fun stripey ones and glittery ones too!  And don't forget the anchor.  Yes, an anchor to go with the lucite shell beads.

 We're having a bead sale this weekend from Friday, March 1 through Sunday, March 3.  All beads are on sale including crimp beads, charms, Swarovski crystals, Japanese seed beads, artists beads, etc., etc., etc.  Beads will be 20% off.  We hope to see you for our quarterly event.

SILK ROAD TREASURES TRUNK SHOW - Friday, February 22 to Sunday, February 24

Rough cut gemstones, lapis, ancient Roman glass, agate, Afghani jade, lovely antiques at the Silk Road Treasures Trunk show, from Friday, February 22 through Sunday, February 24.  Lately, they've been carrying these fabulous unusual fire-torched copper chain, beads, and findings.  This is a show that's unusual!

Theo will be having his lovely assortment of semi-precious gemstones and freshwater pearls on Friday, February 1, and Saturday, February 2.  If you're looking for cabochons, he also has an excellent selection, be sure to ask for them!

CZECH Glass Trunk Show - Fri, January 18 & Sat, January 19

We're having a trunk show Friday and Saturday! Beautiful Czech glass and a few gemstones as well. If you're looking for buttons, this is the trunk show to come to. Loads of buttons and some handpainted. This Friday, January 18 and Saturday, January 19.

Book Signing with Lilian Chen - January 12

Lilian Chen, a longtime customer of ours and a Swarovski Crystal ambassador, will be signing copies of the new book, "Crystal Jewelry Inspiration."  She is one of the contributors of the book with her piece on the cover.  Come visit Lilian and get your copy signed between 11am-12:30pm.  With each copy you purchase, you'll be getting a special something (limited to the first 25 customers) and the opportunity to take a free Make N Take class with Lilian from 12:30-2pm.
